50 years ago this weekend, much of America came to a halt while the funeral services were held for John Kennedy, shot and killed in Dallas, November 22, 1963. Half a century has passed and people still wonder if Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone or was part of some plot. Tens of thousands gathered in Washington, DC, to file passed the casket on Capitol Hill and to watch the funeral procession pass down Pennsylvania avenue and, eventually, to Arlington Cemetery in Virginia.
